  • Ross Dress for Less expands in Idaho, California

    Ross Dress for Less is opening new stores under both its namesake and dd’s Discounts banners. The specialty apparel retailer will open a 25,000-sq.-ft. Ross Dress for Less store in Twin Falls, Idaho, on Oct. 10.

    This store is the 11th new Ross Dress for Less location in Idaho. The opening is part of the retailer’s 2015 expansion program, totaling approximately 70 new locations during the year.

  • Former EDENS executives launch Asana Partners

    Columbia, S.C. -- Industry veterans Terry Brown, Jason Tompkins, and Sam Judd last month launched Asana Partners, a retail real estate investment company headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina.

    Drawing from the team's deep operational and investment background in retail real estate, including more than $15 billion in transaction activity over the last 15 years, the company will acquire, own, and operate retail properties in dynamic markets across the United States.

  • Appriss acquires The Retail Equation

    Louisville, Ky. -- Appriss Inc., a provider of data, risk assessment and analytic solutions for government, health information and consumer industries, has acquired The Retail Equation, Irvine, California, a provider of predictive analytics for retail businesses. The Retail Equation will become the retail division of Appriss and will operate as a separate company within the Appriss corporate structure.

  • Papa Murphy’s continues Jacksonville expansion

    Vancouver, Wash. – Papa Murphy’s Holdings Inc. is setting its sights on Jacksonville, Florida. The pizza chain is opening four new franchised stores in Jacksonville on Aug. 27.

    These stores will join five other Papa Murphy’s units already located in the greater Jacksonville area.
     

  • Head merchant at Cabela's is stepping aside

    Sporting goods retailer Cabela’s is making some changes in its executive leadership.

    The company announced that Brian J. Linneman, EVP and CMO, will transition from his current position and become a strategic adviser to the company.
