    Kansas City, Kansas -- Designer outlet center Legends Outlets Kansas City announced that SweetFrog, a premium frozen yogurt chain based in Richmond, Virginia, has officially opened its first area location.   • Staples launches technology recycling service

    Framingham, Mass. - Staples Advantage, the business-to-business division of Staples, has launched a Technology Recycling Service. The program, offered in partnership with Electronic Recyclers International Inc. (ERI) allows businesses of all sizes to recycle large volumes of electronics in a secure manner.

    Staples Advantage’s new program allows businesses to recycle equipment – from cell phones and keyboards to telecom equipment and multi-function devices – via three steps:

    1. Order recycling boxes online.

    Staples Advantage, the business to business division of Staples, has launched a Technology Recycling Service, so businesses can recycle old electronics.

    The program, offered in partnership with Electronic Recyclers International (ERI) allows businesses of all sizes to recycle large volumes of electronics conveniently, responsibly and in a secure manner, the company said.  

  • Profitero ramps up U.S. expansion with new hire

    Profitero, a leading global provider of online insights and e-commerce intelligence for retailers and brands, has appointed Raj Khathuria as VP of sales for North America.

    Khathuria has more than 17 years of sales management experience. He previously led the North American sales operation for MarkMonitor, a global leader in online brand protection (acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2012), where he was responsible for growth in key vertical markets including consumer goods, luxury apparel and electronics.

  • Manhattan Associates acquires POS vendor GlobalBay

    Atlanta - Supply chain commerce solutions provider Manhattan Associates Inc. has acquired the assets of POS and clienteling applications provider GlobalBay Technologies from VeriFone. The acquisition extends Manhattan’s omnichannel inventory and order management solutions by enabling in-store sales and clienteling capabilities.

    VeriFone’s GlobalBay Merchant solution, targeted to small retailers, will be retained by VeriFone and rebranded in the coming months. Financial terms of the transaction will not be disclosed.

As a result, GameStop now has more than 100 games worth $20 or more.
