    Lane Bryant is launching an omnichannel spring marketing campaign that hopes to drive women to embrace what makes them unique.

    The plus-size retailer is encouraging customers to celebrate the fact that they’re different to the prototypical "Victoria's Secret Angel” and that all sizes can (and deserve to) be sexy.

    New York – Lane Bryant is launching its #ImNoAngel omnichannel spring campaign Monday, April 6. The #ImNoAngel campaign, conceptualized by creative agency- Laird+Partners, kicks off with a series of TV advertisements and photographs taken by photographer Cass Bird.

    The comprehensive national advertising campaign will feature Bird's images and video across Lane Bryant's stores and social media channels, as well as on billboards, public transportation (including on buses and subways), television and in print.

  • Mid-America handles sale of Summit Crossing

    Chicago -- Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales team recently brokered the sale of Summit Crossing located in Crown Point, Indiana. The 11,859-sq.-ft. center was purchased by a California-based private investor for $3.2 million.
     
    Summit Crossing is located at the southeast corner of Route 55 and East Summit Street in Crown Point, in the Chicago MSA. The 100% leased center features a tenant mix that includes ATI Physical Therapy, Advance Auto Parts, Supercuts and Starbucks.

  • Century 21 to expand beyond Northeast with store in Florida

    New York -- Legendary Manhattan off-price retailer Century 21 will open its first store outside its Northeast home base, at Sawgrass Mills, Sunrise, Florida. The 85,000-sq.-ft. store is set to open in the fall of 2016.

  • Lands' End hops to support Easter Egg Roll

    Lands' End has added a digital component to its sponsorship of the White House Easter Egg Roll this year.

    The retailer says this year's theme for the Easter Egg Roll is "#GimmeFive," which encourages Americans across the country to share five things on social media they are doing to eat better, be more active, and lead a healthier life, and supports the First Lady's Let's Move! initiative to help kids grow up healthy and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

  • CBL and Horizon start expansion of Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass

    Chattanooga, Tenn. -- CBL & Associates Properties and Horizon Group Properties have begun construction on the second phase of The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass, near Louisville, Kentucky.

    The 53,400-sq.-ft. expansion is scheduled to open this November and will bring eight more retailers to the center including H&M, Abercrombie & Fitch, The Limited Outlet, and Johnny Rockets. The outlet shopping center, located off Interstate 64 between Louisville and Lexington, opened July 31, 2014.
