  • Cloud-based solutions provider appoints CEO

    Connect Address, a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for increasing online shopping cart conversions in real-time, has named Tom Flynn as the company's CEO.

  • TABS Group forms dedicated Wal-Mart analytics team to enhance insights at chain

    Shelton, Conn. -- TABS Group, a technology-enabled analytics firm, has announced the formation of a senior-level team dedicated to supporting internal and customer-related initiatives with Walmart.

    TABS Group will tap into its new talent base to obtain a comprehensive understanding as to how the largest U.S. retail chain operates on a chain and local level. The insights gained will benefit Walmart and consumer products manufacturers and further contributes to the firm's mission to simplify and improve the way analytics is conducted within the industry.

  • Walgreens fine-tunes senior leadership structure

    Deerfield, Ill. -- Walgreens has restructured its senior leadership, elevating Jim Jensen to VP daily living implementation and space planning, and naming Moe Alkemade as general merchandise manager.

    Beth Stiller has been named group VP retail brands and global sourcing.
     
    All appointments are effective Nov. 4.

  • Interbrand Design Forum bolsters leadership team

    Retail design and brand strategy firm Interbrand Design Forum has added nine new associates as business continues to grow with key retail and manufacturing clients.
     
    Allen McCormick has been named executive director, overseeing relationships with key client partners. Becky Lau was hired as senior consultant, strategy and analytics. Aaron Stancik is also new to the Strategy & Analytics group where he will serve as a senior consultant working on projects for Michael Hill and FedEx.

  • QVC Germany CEO to retire

    West Chester, Pa. - Dr. Ulrich Flatten will retire as CEO, QVC Germany at the end of the year, after 12 years of service to the company. Under his leadership, Germany has developed into QVC's largest European business and its second largest business outside of the United States.

  • Hay Group: Retailers optimistic for 2013 holiday sales and hiring

    Philadelphia -- More than three-fourths (79%) of retailers expect an increase in sales this holiday season – the highest percentage seen since the financial downturn. That’s according to global management consultancy Hay Group’s seventh annual retail holiday survey, whose results were more optimistic that several other holiday forecasts.

  • Vitamin Shopper director heads to Men’s Wearhouse board

    The Men’s Wearhouse has appointed Vitamin Shoppe director B. Michael Becker to its board of directors. 

    Becker has served as a director at Vitamin Shoppe since January 2008 and is chairman of its audit committee. He spent his career as an audit partner for Ernst & Young LLP from 1979 until his retirement in 2006. He was a senior consultant on airline risks to Pay Pal from August 2008 to November 2009.
