  • Funky footwear brand strengthens sales and marketing teams

    IRVINE, Calif. — Sanuk, a division of Deckers Outdoor Corporation, has made changes to its sales and marketing teams. The company has appointed Jeff Booth as its core national sales manager and Tommy Campagne as its core marketing manager.

  • Krispy Kreme refranchises Dallas

    Winson-Salem, N.C. – Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation has completed the sale of three company-owned stores in the Dallas market to Sun Life Holdings LLC as part of a broader agreement where Sun Holdings has agreed to develop 15 additional Krispy Kreme locations in the market during the next five years. Sun Holdings operates nearly 400 restaurants in Texas and Florida, including the Burger King, Popeye's, Arby's, CiCi's, Golden Corral and Del Taco brands. The company also operates 13 T-Mobile stores.

  • Remodeled Renaissance Place Cinema to re-open

    Highland Park, Ill. -- Landmark Theatres will re-open its remodeled five-screen Renaissance Place Cinema in mid-July.

    The extensive renovation added a full-service bar and lounge, new seating and sound systems that include hearing loop technology, which wirelessly transmits sound from films to hearing aids with telecoils.

     

  • Abilene Sam’s Club relocates

    Abilene, Texas -- Sam’s Club will open a 136,000-sq. ft. relocated club today in Abilene, Texas. Mayor Norm Archibald and the Abilene Chamber of Commerce Redcoat Committee are scheduled to attend the grand opening.

  • Burger King expands home delivery to Salt Lake City

    Miami -- Burger King Worldwide said that it has now added Salt Lake City to the list of markets employing home-delivery.

    "BK Delivers is already performing well in Boston, New York, Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco Bay Area, Las Vegas, Sacramento, greater Washington, D.C., Phoenix and Denver,” said Petru Pusta, director retail innovation, Burger King Worldwide. The program allows consumers in each delivery zone to customize and order Burger King menu items by phone or online.

  • Buffalo Wild Wings leases Manhattan flagship

    New York -- Buffalo Wild Wings has leased its first Midtown Manhattan location in Times Square, according to Winick Realty Group.

    The 15,000-sq.-ft. flagship restaurant includes a 5,000-sq.-ft. ground floor with 22-ft. ceilings, a 2,000-sq.-ft. mezzanine, two lower levels and a 2,000-sq.-ft. roof deck for outdoor dining.

     

  • Report: Meijer to make Detroit debut

    New York -- Meijer is set to open its first store in the city of Detroit on July 25, according to Crain's Detroit Business.

    The store will anchor a new shopping center and will feature a grocery section, drive-thru pharmacy, gas station and Huntington National Bank branch. Other tenants at the shopping center will include clothing and pet supply stores and fast-food restaurants.

    Whole Foods Market recently opened a store in Detroit.
