  • Cullinan promotes two

    Peoria, Ill. -- Cullinan Properties, Ltd. has promoted Scott Bishop to VP of Asset Management, responsible for overseeing all aspects of property operations for the company, including supervision of both in-house personnel and third-party firms. Bishop will also coordinate leasing, marketing and tenant construction-related activities for the managed properties.

  • Major Western restaurant player to open five Utah PizzaRev locations

    Salt Lake City -- PizzaRev franchisee group Away We Dough, Inc. is opening Utah’s first PizzaRev – a build-your-own artisanal pizza concept with roots in Southern California.

    The new West Valley restaurant is the first of five franchise locations planned to open in Utah in the next six months.

    Away We Dough is part of William Tell, Inc. based in Salt Lake City, which owns and operates 18 Applebee’s and eight Famous Dave’s in Utah and Washington.

  • Goodwill opens new store in metro Phoenix

    Chandler, Ariz. -- X Team International announced that partner Velocity Retail Group has completed deals with Goodwill of Central Arizona and six other retailers in the metropolitan Phoenix market.

    Goodwill of Central Arizona will open a 27,600-sq.-ft. retail store in Chandler, Arizona, located at Arizona Avenue and Riggs Road.

  • Retail veteran joins Park City Group business development team

    Salt Lake City - Frederic Van Roie has joined the business development team of Big Data management software provider Park City Group.

    Van Roie is a 25-year veteran of the retail, CPG and foodservice industries with expertise in marketing and merchandising strategies at several premier retailers, including Costco, BJ’s, Home Depot, Whole Foods, D’Agostino’s, Walmart and Safeway.

     

  • Fred Segal to debut ‘lifestyle center’ in Tokyo

    New York -- Fred Segal will unveil its first “international lifestyle center” concept in spring 2015, in Tokyo. The format will feature a collection of stores in three buildings in a converted railway site at 13 Daikanyama-cho Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. It will be Fred Segal’s first location outside the United States.

  • Mid-America arranges sale of The Willits Retail

    Birmingham, Mich. -- Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales team, in cooperation with NAI Farbman, recently brokered the sale of The Willits Retail in Birmingham, Michigan. The 25,396-sq.-ft. asset was purchased by Southfield, Michigan-based Seligman Group.

    The Willits Retail is located at the southeast corner of Willits Street and Bates Street in the Detroit suburb of Birmingham. Willits features Mitchell’s Fish Market and Cameron’s Steakhouse, together with TD Ameritrade and Darakjian Jewelers.

     

  • DDR announces grand opening of Seabrook Commons

    Beachwood, Ohio — DDR announced the grand opening of Seabrook Commons, the company’s most recent ground-up development project located in Seabrook, New Hampshire, a northern suburb of the Boston MSA.

    The 380,000-sq.-ft. power center is 96% leased, anchored by Walmart, Dick's Sporting Goods, PetSmart, Michaels, ULTA, Famous Footwear and Five Below, and features a complementary restaurant lineup that includes Panera, Outback Steakhouse and Noodles & Company.

  • Corner Bakery Café to enter Oregon

    Dallas -- Corner Bakery Café announced its entry into Oregon, with the addition of franchise partner NW Ventures. As the operator of more than 138 Burger King franchises in Oregon and Mexico, as well as two TGI Fridays in Mexico, NW Ventures joins Corner Bakery Cafe as its 32nd franchise partner, with plans to open 12 neighborhood cafes in the state of Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.
