  • New retailers to open at Shoppes at Boca Greens

    Boca Raton, Fla. -- West Palm Beach, Fla.-based American Commercial Realty Corp. said it has completed several new leases at the Shoppes at Boca Greens in Boca Raton, Fla.

    Cosmetics and beauty retailer Harmon Face Values, a division of Bed Bath & Beyond, will open a new, 7,400-sq.-ft. store, the retailer’s first full store in Florida.

    Children’s clothing retailer Denny’s Children’s Wear will relocate and expand to an 8,600-sq.-ft. location within the center.

  • Sonic to open at Chesterfield Marketplace

    Richmond, Va. -- McLean, Va.-based The Rappaport Cos. announced that Sonic has leased a three-fourth-acre pad site at Chesterfield Marketplace in Richmond, Va.

    The new restaurant will be located in the former Pizza Hut building, near the shopping center entrance.

    Chesterfield Marketplace is a 400,000-sq.-ft. shopping center featuring a tenant mix that includes The Home Depot, PetSmart, Staples and Ruby Tuesday.

  • New restaurant leases signed at Festival at Manchester Lakes

    Franconia, Va. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased restaurant space in Franconia, Va., to two new retailers at Festival at Manchester Lakes.

    Dunkin’ Donuts has leased 1,800 sq. ft., and Genghis Grill, a build-your-own bowl, fast casual, Asian stir-fry concept, has leased 4,443 sq. ft., bringing the center to 95% leased. Both restaurants plan to open this spring.

  • Massage Envy to expand in Pittsburgh area

    Scottsdale, Ariz. -- Massage Envy announced Thursday the signing of a multi-unit Regional Developer agreement with Sol Glastein for the development of 11 new centers in Pittsburgh, Western Pennsylvania and Morgantown, W.V.

    Glastein has been a Massage Envy franchisee since 2006 and currently operates two centers in New Jersey.

    In 2010, Massage Envy opened 43 locations, bringing the total number of locations to more than 650 units operating in 43 states.
     

  • Keva Juice to open at Marketplace Shopping Center

    St. Petersburg, Fla. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased retail space in St. Petersburg, Fla., to Keva Juice, which will open at Marketplace Shopping Center.

    Keva Juice has leased 1,302 sq. ft. and is slated to open this spring.

    The 90,296-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by a newly opened LA Fitness. National retailers at the center also include Starbucks, The UPS Store, Jenny Craig, and BB&T.

  • Staples Advantage introduces sustainable kitchen, janitorial products

    FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Staples Advantage, the business-to-business division of Staples Inc., announced its new Sustainable Earth by Staples janitorial paper products and compostable kitchen items including cups, plates and cutlery. According to the company, the products were developed using renewable resources, such as plant-based plastics and sugarcane, as well as recycled fiber and post-consumer content. By using innovative materials, these products have earned leading environmental certifications byGreen Seal and Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI).
