Lowe’s is preparing for its annual SpringFest.

Spring is in the air at Lowe’s – and will soon be coming to its stores and website.

The home improvement giant will host its second annual “SpringFest” event online and in-store, April 7-May 4, 2022. The omnichannel promotion, initially introduced in April 2021, features enhanced in-store experiences and workshops, special discounts on top spring products and an initiative to spread more plants leading up to Earth Day.

Specific SpringFest offerings include new 30-minute, in-store lawn and garden "walking tours" with Lowe's “Red Vest” expert store associates. These “SpringFESTIVAL Garden Tours” will be offered three times per day, every Tuesday and Thursday, starting Tuesday, April 19. Customers can register for a timeslot beginning April 7 at Lowes.com/SpringFest, as well as look for limited-time offers and deals on seasonal products.

Lowe’s will also offer seasonally-themed shoppable livestream and in-store workshops, such as “How to Build and Plant a Raised Garden Bed" and "How to Create a Beautiful Lawn," as part of its new DIY-U by Lowe’s program.

Each workshop will be hosted by Lowe’s expert “Red Vest” store associates. The retailer’s new virtual workshop experiences will also allow customers to shop and add supplies to their cart in real-time, as well as receive live answers to project questions from Lowe’s Red Vest experts.

In addition, as part of an effort to bring up to one million new plants into the world by Earth Day (April 22), for every person who posts a tulip emoji alongside #SeedingSpring on social media on the first day of spring, March 20, Lowe's will share a real-life seed ahead of Earth Day by surprising customers with unexpected seed giveaways at select in-store locations, and by planting new plants and flowers in Lowe's Charlotte, N.C. community initiative.

Lowe’s is launching its SpringFest event following its extended 2021 holiday promotion, which actually began in October. That omnichannel offering included multiple sizes and styles of decorations suited for all the major holidays celebrated during November and December; an online-only assortment of Lowe’s own brand of holiday products; an in-store and online “Gift Zone,” which served as a one-stop shopping location with a regularly updated assortment of holiday gift items; new holiday deals offered every week through the holiday season; and Lowe’s largest selection of artificial trees ever, as well as fresh-cut tree lots at Lowe's stores nationwide.

“Our customers look forward to their first spring trip to Lowe's, as that's the unofficial start to the season for them," said Marisa Thalberg, Lowe's executive VP, chief brand and marketing officer. "This year, Lowe's is proving that the possibilities of spring at home have only just begun with an all-new SpringFest in-store experience and everything that our customers need to step outside and kick off the season."

Based in Mooresville, N.C., Lowe's Companies Inc. and its related businesses operate or service nearly 2,200 home improvement and hardware stores.
