The Cordish Companies, parent company of Live! Hospitality & Entertainment, is deploying the Shift4 SkyTab integrated POS platform at dining, entertainment, and retail businesses located within Live! venues across the country. The SkyTab solution includes integrated online ordering and reservations, contactless QR code-based ordering and payment, mobile devices for tableside ordering and payment, and built-in marketing and loyalty tools.

Live! entertainment and hospitality venues including Texas Live!, Kansas City Live!, Ballpark Village, Fourth Street Live!, Live! at the Battery, Power Plant Live!, Waterside District and Xfinity Live!, as well as the Sports & Social, PBR Cowboy Bar, and PBR Lockhart Smokehouse banners, will feature Shift4 SkyTab contactless POS technology.

Dave & Buster’s streamlines transactions with in-store kiosks

Another restaurant/entertainment chain, Dave & Buster’s, recently launched a kiosk-based initiative to give customers an easier time ordering and paying for food and drink and loading gaming credit. The retailer is partnering with Diebold Nixdorf to deliver a new kiosk solution that is replacing legacy order and payment hardware and software.

Dave & Buster’s decided to overhaul its previous order and payment solution in order to create a more in-store efficiency and offer an intuitive, frictionless customer experience.
