“Hands-free” footwear brand Kizik has added an industry veteran to its C-suite.

The brand has appointed Elizabeth Drori as chief marketing officer. She joins Kizik from footwear brand Sperry, where she served as global chief marketing officer and general manager of its e-commerce business.

Prior to joining Sperry, Drori led marketing for Walmart's fashion business in various positions for three years (2017 to 2020). Before Walmart, she was at Converse for nearly eight years, including serving as director of global brand management.

At Kizik, Drori will report directly to CEO Monte Deere.

"Bringing Elizabeth Drori on board marks a pivotal moment for Kizik," said Deere. "Her extensive background in marketing within the footwear industry, exceptional strategic insight and collaborative leadership style will be instrumental as we scale our direct-to-consumer, brick-and-mortar, and wholesale distribution channels worldwide. Elizabeth's leadership and expertise will be a driving force in realizing our vision for future growth and innovation."

Drori’s appointment to Kizik’s C-suite comes as the brand has begun to expand its brick-and-mortar business. Earlier this year, Kizik opened its second and third locations at two of America’s largest malls: Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. and King of Prussia mall in Pennsylvania. Kizik opened its first store in June 2023 at Fashion Place Mall in Murray, Utah.

"I'm thrilled to join the innovative team at Kizik and build on the incredible foundation they have created,” said Drori. “As the leader in hands-free footwear, the Kizik product proposition is compelling, with endless growth potential. I look forward to being part of the magic that is Kizik and introducing the brand to new consumers around the world."

Based in Lindon, Utah, Kizik’s “hands-free” footwear collection features more than 200 pending and granted patents.
