Levi's veteran to join Journeys Group C-suite

Journeys has named a retail veteran to its chief marketing officer role.

Teen fashion footwear retailer Journeys has announced a new appointment to its C-suite.

Stacy Doren has been named executive VP and chief marketing officer of the Journeys Group, effective Aug. 1, and will oversee all marketing functions. Doren joins Journeys after a 24-year tenure at Levi Strauss & Co., including serving as VP of Levi's Americas Marketing from 2013 to 2024. 

Most recently at Levi's,  Doren led a 50-person marketing team overseeing creative development, media, partnerships and activations, public relations, channel marketing and brand environment for the company’s largest business segment.

According to Journeys Group, Doren’s achievements at Levi’s include developing the brand’s full-funnel marketing offense, re-establishing the brand's cultural relevance with youth, helping to rejuvenate the women's business and grow lifestyle categories, and overseeing the launch of Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Claif. In her new position at Journeys, Doren will report directly to Gray.

Journeys Group is part of the Genesco Inc. family of brands, which operates approximately 1,350 retail stores and branded e-commerce websites. Its other brands include Little Burgundy, Schuh and Johnston & Murphy. Genesco Brands Group sells branded lifestyle footwear to leading retailers under licensed brands including Levi’s, Dockers and G.H. Bass.
