Instacart is making its service more affordable for customers through three new features.

Instacart is rolling out three new features aimed at helping its customers save money.

Through a new Personal Digital Flyer, eliminated delivery fees on next day orders, and enhanced loyalty card savings, the delivery platform says it is making its service more affordable.

“At Instacart, we’re always working to give people more opportunities to save on food and essential household items,” said Daniel Danker, chief product officer at Instacart. “And today, we’re launching a suite of new features designed to put affordability front and center in the Instacart app and help our customers stretch their dollars further.”

The new features on Instacart include the following.

  • Browse the Personal Digital Flyer: A new grocery circular This new feature “transforms” retailers’ traditional printed grocery circulars into a personalized digital format that customers can browse every week to find the best deals and maximize savings from retailers they love. Customers can even set up notifications for when their favorite items go on sale.
  • Plan ahead and save Instacart is also waiving delivery fees (a $7.99 value) on next day grocery orders over $10.
  • Access more loyalty card savings at more stores Instacart users can now take advantage of hundreds of store loyalty programs when they shop from their favorite stores via the Instacart app and website, including retailers like Albertsons, Costco, Food Lion, Kroger, Meijer, Raley’s, Schnucks, Sprouts and Wegmans. By adding loyalty card info with just one tap at checkout, Instacart customers can save an average of $8-12 per order.

In addition to these new features, Instacart says it has also grown its partnerships with key retailers that accept SNAP as an online payment option. Families can now use their SNAP benefits at nearly 180 retailer banners, spanning over 30,000 stores across all 50 states and Washington, D.C., reaching nearly 98% of SNAP households in the U.S.

Based in San Francisco, Instacart partners with more than 1,500 national, regional, and local retail banners to facilitate online shopping, delivery and pickup services from more than 85,000 stores across North America.
