Instacart extends holiday discount event to a full month
Instacart will begin offering its 2025 holiday deals before Thanksgiving.
The grocery technology company kicks off its first-ever Holiday Deal Month Monday, Nov. 24, with four weeks of savings running through Tuesday, Dec. 23. The event is an expansion of its previous Deal Week sale. Introduced in December 2023 and brought back in December 2024, “Tis a Big Deal Week” (also referred to as Deal Week) offered seven days of savings right before Christmas.

Instacart Holiday Deal Month will offer several sets of offers tailored around specific seasonal occurrences:
- Thanksgiving: Holiday Deal Month kicks off with special savings and stock-up-and-save offers (while supplies last) related to Thanksgiving hosting and prep, including proteins, fruits, veggies, baking supplies, pantry staples, and beverages, all delivered in as fast as 30 minutes.
- Black Friday: Friday, Nov. 28 – Saturday, Nov. 29, Instacart will have hundreds of deals across electronics, toys, beauty, home improvement, pet, sneakers, apparel, and home goods from retailers including Best Buy, Finish Line, JD Sports, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Office Depot OfficeMax, Petco, PetSmart, Staples, The Home Depot and Ulta Beauty.
- Cyber Week: From Sunday, Nov. 30 – Sunday, Dec. 7, Instacart offers limited-time savings on products including gadgets, power tools, hosting essentials and sporting equipment from retailers including Best Buy, Dick’s, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Sephora, Staples, The Home Depot and more.
- Holiday Hosting: From Monday, Dec. 8 – Tuesday, Dec. 16, customers can obtain special savings on hosting and seasonal items (terms and exclusions apply) from a variety of retailers, including Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Pet Supplies Plus, Sally Beauty and The Home Depot.
- Last-Minute Gifting: From Wednesday, Dec. 17 – Tuesday, Dec. 23, Instacart will offer up to 25% off (minimum spend required and maximum discount varies) gifts and stocking stuffers from retailers including Best Buy, Dollar Tree, Dick’s, JD Sports, Sally Beauty, Sephora, Staples and Ulta Beauty.
In addition, on Tuesday, Dec. 9, customers can receive a free Chomps original beef stick with their minimum $10 Instacart order with limit one per order.
In-store holiday savings with Caper Carts
Until Tuesday, Dec. 30, customers who shop with Instacart Caper Carts smart carts at participating retailers including McKeever’s, Queen’s, Bowman’s, and Davis Food & Drug can obtain weekly exclusive savings on holiday grocery items such as green beans, cranberry sauce, stuffing, brown sugar and vanilla extract.
