Francesca’s mobile app enables frontline workers

Francesca’s is using an AI-based mobile platform to transform workforce operations.

Francesca’s Holdings Corp. is providing associates access to an app designed to improve communication, learning, and productivity.

The apparel and accessories retailer is deploying Yoobic One, an all-in-one digital workplace platform, to give its 3,000 frontline employees new two-way communication, learning, and productivity optimization tools. At the same time, Francesca’s utilizes the platform to provide local, district and regional managers with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and full visibility into all aspects of the company’s performance across its network of stores. 

About 3,000 of Francesca’s frontline associates are now using the Yoobic app to communicate, manage tasks, and gain access to information and skill-based training tools. The company hopes the app will help engage, support, and motivate frontline employees to maximize efficiency.

Specific employee app features include automation to handle simple or repetitive tasks, as well as real-time learning, collaboration and communication capabilities. Meanwhile, Francesca’s managers can generate and share content, giving all employees mobile access to up-to-date policies and in-store promotions.

Managers can also utilize the Yoobic One platform’s automated and real-time AI-powered intelligence capabilities to support network-wide operational performance, as well as obtain full visibility into all levels of corporate data.

In the coming months, Francesca’s plans to use Yoobic One functionality to help scale its workforce and rapidly onboard quality associates. The retailer also expects the platform to help managers ensure excellent customer experience across all touchpoints, from the company’s existing store network to planned future partnerships with women- and minority-run small businesses, cruise ships, and luxury hotels.

Oher specialty retailers have also recently been implementing Yoobic mobile technology. U.S. footwear brand Johnston & Murphy (a division of Genesco) is deploying the Yoobic all-in-one digital workplace platform across its 168 company-owned retail locations. The retailer intends to modernize operations, improve the employee experience using digital technology, and deliver quality customer experiences across its entire retail footprint.
