Fossil mobile-enables in-store checkout

Fossil is equipping associates with mobile checkout capability.

Fossil Group Inc. is allowing associates to assist and check out customers anywhere on the store floor via mobile device.

The watch and accessories brand is replacing a legacy fixed POS solution with the cloud-basedNewStore mPOS mobile POS platform in hundreds of its Fossil, Fossil Outlet and Watch Station locations across 19 countries. Once the project is complete, associates will have access all order and inventory data across the business, in an effort to further simplify the checkout experience and increase customer engagement. 

Leveraging the mPOS platform, Fossil will also support omnichannel flows, such as remote selling, store fulfillment, endless aisle, buy online pickup in-store (BOPIS), and buy online return in-store (BORIS). In addition, the retailer will leverage built-in integrations with Salesforce to extend recent investments in the Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud solutions to its stores.
