LoveShackFancy continues to expand its store footprint.

The lifestyle and fashion brand, known for its ultra-feminine, vintage-inspired aesthetics and love of all things pink, has opened its first store in the Midwest — and 22nd location to date — in Wilmette, Ill., on Chicago’s North Shore. The outpost follows recent LoveShackFancy store openings in Marin, Calif.; Aspen, Col.; Kiawah Island, S.C.; and Charlotte, N.C.

And more locations are in the works. The brand will open on Market Street in The Woodlands, (Woodlands, Texas) in early October, followed by a flagship in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood later in the month.

Located at the Plaza del Lago open-air shopping center in Wilmette, the new 1,388-sq.-ft. LoveShackFancy features the company’s apparel along with its beauty and fragrance lines, home collection, activewear, kids, exclusive bespoke pieces, a curated vintage capsule and more. Similar to other LoveShackFancy boutiques, it is filled with the brand’s signature florals, bows and pink hues.

In an exclusive feature, the store design also taps into the brand’s best-selling Moondance fragrance. The print from the fragrance bottle is showcased in the drapery and the wallpaper, with an emphasis on its creamy whites and gold colors.

Additional interior details include vintage-sourced blond wood French and Swedish furniture, an art wall with framed vintage pieces customized and sourced by LoveShackFancy, gold ornate door handles, custom frieze moldings, elevated textures and fabrics, and Aubusson rugs.

Each LoveShackFancy store is uniquely tailored to its location. The Wilmette store features a range of accessories and decor sourced from local and small businesses in the area.

“We are so thrilled to be opening our very first store in the Chicago area, specifically at the Plaza del Lago shopping center alongside so many iconic luxury brands,” said LoveShackFancy founder and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen. “I’ve wanted to open up a location for so long in this area as we’ve gotten so much love on social from Chicago girls including women of all ages from teens to moms and beyond. I can’t wait to bring the magic of LoveShackFancy to the Midwest and expand our retail presence even further in the U.S.”

In addition to operating its own stores, LoveShackFancy has a wholesale business with accounts that include Revolve, Saks, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Bergdorf Goodman. Eighty percent of the business is direct-to-consumer, and 20% is wholesale, according to a report by WWD
