First Look: Kleinfeld Bridal says 'yes' to grooms with in-store shop
Grooms and other members of their wedding party will soon be able to rent suits and tuxedos at one of the country's most famous bridal retailers.
Kleinfeld Bridal, home of TLC's "Say Yes to the Dress” show, is partnering with Generation Tux, a digitally-native company which offers a variety of stylish suits, tuxedos and accessories for rent. The menswear company, which was founded by Men's Wearhouse founder George Zimmer, will open an in-store showroom on the second level of the iconic Kleinfeld flagship in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood.
The in-store shop will feature 25-plus suit and tuxedo styles plus hundreds of accessory colors. Its opening leans into the modern trend of couples doing much of the wedding milestones together, such as shopping for the ring, wedding planning, venue scouting and more, noted Kleinfeld.
"We are thrilled to welcome Generation Tux to the Kleinfeld family," said Ronnie Rothstein, CEO of Kleinfeld Bridal. "This partnership allows us to provide Kleinfeld's luxury experience to couples, bringing high-quality menswear and dedicated service to our brides, grooms and guests under one roof."
With dedicated stylists, grooms will be able to explore a curated assortment of suits, tuxedos and in-store exclusives. Additionally, every appointment will include a free style consultation as well as wedding party management tailored specifically to customers’ needs. When five people in the wedding party get their suits or tuxes from Generation Tux, the groom receives his rental for free.
"Opening our first Manhattan showroom inside Kleinfeld allows us to pair our modern approach to menswear with the elevated, high-touch experience couples expect when they walk through their doors,” said Jason Jackson, president and COO of Generation Tux. "Together, we're creating a seamless and inspiring destination for every part of the wedding style journey."
In addition to its upcoming New York City shop, Generation Tux operates showrooms in key cities, including Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, and Columbus (Ohio) for in-person fittings and styling. It also has a presence in select David's Bridal stores.
