First Look: Jewelry brand Marli opens stylish NYC flagship
Marli New York is expanding its footprint in the Big Apple.
The fine jewelry brand has opened a 2,418-sq.-ft. flagship on Madison Avenue in New York City. It marks the 12-year-old company's second Manhattan destination, with an interior that offers an intimate retail setting.
Featuring a modern Art Deco aesthetic, the store boasts skyline-inspired spatial compositions and an abundance of Indiana limestone, a material used in the facades of the Empire State Building, the MET, the NYC Public Library and other city landmarks. Strategically placed pops of teal — Marli’s signature color — guide the eye and energize the space, reinforcing the brand's modern identity.
The flagship introduces a new iteration of the signature M Lounge on the ground floor, reimagined for New York as a dynamic, studio-like environment, complete with full-length mirrors. Customers can have one-on-one appointments in a private, club-like lounge space, The Marli Club, on the second floor.
Marli founder and creative director Maral Artinian collaborated with architectural firm Aranda\Lasch to envision the flagship's interior concepts, perfecting a design language established at Marli’s boutiques in Geneva, Dubai, Riyadh, and Harrods in London. The firm also designed the brand's Hudson Yards flagship.
"A presence on Madison Avenue, one of the world's most iconic luxury destinations, marks a new chapter for Marli," says Maral. "The flagship is more than a boutique; it's an embodiment of the Marli spirit, a space where design, emotion, and individuality come together to create meaningful experiences. We can't wait to welcome everyone to the Marli universe on Madison Avenue, in the city that inspired it all."
The opening of the flagship opening comes as the brand continues to expand its profile in the global fine jewelry sector. The company recently debuted its first timepiece collection.
In addition to its two Manhattan outposts, Marli has 15 stores in Europe and the Middle East, with future expansion planned.
