Calvin Klein Inc. has made its brick-and-mortar return to New York City.

The brand, part of PVH Corp., has opened a global flagship in Manhattan’s SoHo district. The 3,000-sq.-ft. space is Calvin Klein’s only physical store in the city since the closing of its Madison Avenue flagship in 2019.  Its opening, which follows recent flagship openings in Paris and Tokyo, reaffirms Calvin Klein’s commitment to creating premium lifestyle destinations that marry the brand’s distinctive minimalism with authentic local energy, the company said.

The store’s design was inspired by New York City’s signature loft apartments, creating a modern, warm environment that evokes the creative legacy of downtown New York. It also provides an ideal backdrop for the essential denim, underwear and apparel synonymous with the brand while reinforcing Calvin Klein’s deep roots in the city.

Located just steps from the brand’s signature billboard on Houston Street, the new store is a tribute to Calvin Klein’s New York heritage, said David Savman, global brand president, Calvin Klein.

“We are proud to return to one of the world’s most fashionable cities — and the birthplace of our iconic brand — with an elevated retail expression,” he added. “It represents both the evolution of our retail experience and a tangible expression of the world of Calvin Klein. Calvin Klein embodies a distinctive, global way of living that meets culture, and this store is the latest step on our journey of taking our brand to the next level.”

The store’s exterior façade is painted in the brand’s signature charcoal tone. The large windows are designed with a custom seasonal concept created in collaboration with design studio Perron Studios, inspired by the store’s design motif: a spiral staircase, 3D-sculpted sofas and chairs and moving crates repurposed as product displays recall the idea of moving into a historic SoHo loft.

A palette of Calvin Klein’s signature creams, warm neutrals and natural textures creates a calm backdrop on the interior. The store’s open space merges authentic industrial character with a refined sensibility through open wood joist ceilings, cast columns and poured concrete floors that reflect the raw character of the neighborhood’s iconic lofts.

Oversized reclaimed wood frames evoke SoHo’s large industrial windows, while fixtures in brushed stainless steel and cream plaster balance tactile craftsmanship with modern simplicity. Floor-to-ceiling curved digital screens bring the brand’s high-impact campaigns to life, reinforcing its connection to culture.

The store showcases Calvin Klein’s lifestyle offering through curated spaces framed against the latest marketing campaigns. Denim and underwear anchor the experience, complemented by men’s and women’s apparel and accessories. Key styles from Calvin Klein Collection, the "pinnacle" expression of the brand, will be available during designated times beginning in spring 2026.

“New York is central to the DNA of the Calvin Klein brand,” said Stefan Larsson, CEO of PVH Corp. “This homecoming is a key milestone as we build Calvin Klein into one of the most desirable lifestyle brands in the world. Step by step, we’re deepening brand relevance, driving consumer engagement and strengthening brand positioning across North America and globally.”
