Edgy menswear brand continues store expansion

Psycho Bunny continues to expand in brick-and-mortar.

The cult-favorite menswear brand, whose logo is a maniacal rabbit over a skull and bones, will open its doors at Garden State Plaza Mall, in Paramus, N.J., on March 31. The opening is the first of more than 15 Psycho Bunny locations planned for 2021.

Psycho Bunny began its store expansion in fall 2019, with openings in Atlanta, Las Vegas and Hollywood, Fla. Last year, the company make its debut in California, with three locations. To date it has opened a total of nine stores. (The brand is also sold in Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and other retailers.)

The 1,500-sq.-ft. Paramus store is designed to catch the eye of shoppers with its prism store window composed of glass panels along with a dichroic film, giving everyone a direct view into the store. Inside, a neon bunny sign will be integrated into a merchandise gallery wall and as well as a large-scale LED video wall. The store will carry the brand’s full assortment, which includes t-shirts, polo, jackets and accessories.

Along with its signature logo, Psycho Bunny is best known for its hand-finished polo shirts which are finished with mother of pearl buttons made in Peru.

“Psycho Bunny is thrilled to see such tremendous retail growth, and particularly proud to open in the New York metro area, which is the birthplace of our brand” said Kenny Minzberg, COO of Psycho Bunny. “Our unique take on menswear has earned us a very loyal customer base and we are grateful and excited to drive continued growth throughout 2021 and beyond.”
