eBay revamps advertising platform

eBay is enhancing its user experience for advertisers.

Advertisers on eBay have a whole new interface and user experience.

The e-commerce marketplace is offering the following new features as part of the eBay Advertising reboot:

  • A new dashboard providing sellers with a streamlined, all-in-one solution for tracking and optimizing ad campaign performance. 
  • A revamped Seller Hub marketing tab and a new advertising tab giving one-click access to an upgraded advertising dashboard designed to provide a comprehensive and holistic view of campaigns, as well as detailed reporting, for easier analysis and adjustment.
  • A "today’s recommendations" feature offering daily, customized tips intended to help optimize campaigns and improve ad effectiveness. 
  • A "suggested campaigns" tool featuring custom-built, ready-to-launch campaigns based on historical data and eBay best practices. 
  • Trend-based campaigns, which leverage eBay AI technology to uncover current and emerging marketplace trends and build a ready-to-launch campaign designed for specific advertisers and their unique listings, including actionable tips designed to boost campaign results.
  • Advertising insights designed to help sellers discover the latest in news, research and product announcements from eBay Advertising.  
  • Personalized recommendations and pop-up notifications in real time.

Streamlined advertising porfolio

From the new dashboard, eBay sellers can leverage three advertising solutions: Promoted Listings, Promoted Offsite, and Promoted Stores:

  • With Promoted Listings, advertisers can utilize campaign strategies that are designed to align with the unique goals of their business. A priority campaign strategy provides priority access to ad placements with advanced controls and tailored AI-generated campaign recommendations. A general campaign strategy provides general access to ad placements with standard controls.

  • Promoted Stores provides targeting capabilities designed to help build brand loyalty with current and potential buyers.
  • Promoted Offsite uses a dynamic cost-per-click model and automatically adjusts for each listing, daily. Users set budget guidance and adjust it along the way, as desired.
