Consumers apparently did not get enough branded Dunkin’ holiday merchandise last year to satisfy their needs.
On Tuesday, Nov. 17, Dunkin’ will launch ShopDunkin.com, a limited-edition e-commerce storefront offering a holiday assortment including Dunkin’s first-ever personalized apparel and accessories, with custom caps, shirts, laptop cases, and phone cases created with anyone’s name. Beginning Thursday, Nov. 12, members of the coffee retailer’s DDPerks rewards program will get exclusive early access to select apparel items.
Dunkin’ launched its first online promotional holiday shop in November 2019. According to the retailer, much of that store’s assortment sold out within hours.
Special Instagram posts from social influencers Ashley Jaconetti and Jared Haibon feature Dunkin’s full 2020 holiday merchandise assortment. The selection includes apparel, bedding, Keurig mini-brewers, scented wrapping paper, scarf and glove sets, and hair scrunchies; as well as a mini-fridge, tandem bike, apron, metal lunch box, and dog leash.
“Our guests went wild for our holiday merch last year, so this year we’re taking it to the next level, giving our loyal DD Perks members access to exclusive items, offering personalized options for the first time, and most importantly, bringing everyone who runs on Dunkin’ fresh new ways to proudly show their love for their favorite brand,” said Drayton Martin, VP, brand stewardship at Dunkin’. “From functional to just fun, our holiday merch offers everything needed to bring our fans smiles and good cheer, and helps them give joy to their Dunkin’ loving family and friends this holiday season.”
Dunkin’ designed ShopDunkin.com in collaboration with design-led creative company Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR). BAMKO, a branded merchandise firm with global headquarters in Los Angeles, produced the holiday items.
