Summer of DashPass

One day prior to announcing the new retailer, DoorDash announced its sixth-annual Summer of DashPass event, delivering five weeks of “can’t-miss deals” exclusively for DashPass members from June 26 to July 30. This year’s Summer of DashPass event features thousands of member-exclusive discounts, with up to 25-50% off on meals, groceries, electronics, summer essentials and more, including local deals at more than 120,000 small and medium-sized businesses.

This summer, DashPass members will have new ways to save all summer long:

  • Limited-Time In-App Deal Drops: DoorDash is dropping surprise offers with bigger savings in-app each week. Users can look out for limited-time deals with up to 50% off across categories like groceries, home improvement, electronics, and beauty.
  • Double the Lyft Benefits: To help users make the most of their summer, DoorDash is doubling the Lyft benefits DashPass members already enjoy, with 10% off on-demand rides and 20% off scheduled airport rides.
  • Major Social Giveaways: Users can keep an eye on DoorDash's Instagram and TikTok (@doordash) for major giveaways, including the chance to win a $4,000 in DoorDash e-gift card.

DoorDash also announced its new Family Sharing program, allowing eligible DashPass members to give the gift of DashPass by extending their membership to a loved one at no extra cost. Each person keeps their own DoorDash account, payment methods, order history, and delivery preferences separate.

“As the value of DashPass continues to grow with exclusive savings across restaurants, grocery, retail and more, DashPass is the best way to save on all things locally,” said Ryan Parietti, VP & GM, head of marketplace at DoorDash. “With new features like Family Sharing and the return of the Summer of DashPass deals event with limited-time in-app deal drops, members have access to more summer savings than ever before. From discounted Lyft rides and exclusive perks for Chase cardholders to streaming with Max for Annual Plan members, DashPass delivers amazing value — there's truly never been a better time to become a member.”
