Southaven, Miss. -- Tanger Factory Outlet Centers and Poag Shopping Centers will celebrate the Grand Opening of Tanger Outlets Southaven located in Southaven, Mississippi, on Nov. 20.

The Center will feature over 70 brand name and designer outlet retailers including: Ann Taylor, Gap factory outlet, White House | Black Market, Banana Republic, Columbia Sportswear Company, J.Crew, Loft, Under Armour, Skechers, Pandora, Carter's, Tommy Hilfiger and more.

Amid a slew of news from Target headquarters on Monday, the retailer also announced that, as part of the White House’s climate pledge, it would be working toward eight new sustainability commitments.

Burr Ridge Ill. -- Trademark Property Co. announced the start of construction on its multi-million dollar renovation of the Burr Ridge Village Center in Burr Ridge, Illinois. Enhancements will include upgraded amenities, renovation of common areas and roadway modifications.

While sales at Chico’s appear to be improving, the specialty retailer's turnaround plan also includes selling off one of its divisions.

Fort Myers, Fla. – Chico’s FAS Inc. on Wednesday released better-than-expected second quarter sales and earnings and also announced it was selling off its Boston Proper specialty women’s apparel business.

Earlier this year, the retailer launched a turnaround plan that includes closing some 120 stores through February 2017, cutting jobs and reducing spending.

Henderson, Nev. -- Vestar recently completed a $120 million buyout from its joint venture partner, Rockwood Capital, to take full ownership and operations including property management, leasing and marketing of The District at Green Valley Ranch, a 37-acre, 384,107-sq.-ft. mixed-use center in Henderson, Nevada.
