  • Shake Shack tests mobile ordering

    Fast-casual eatery throws its hat into the mobile app arena.   Eager to take advantage of mobility, Shake Shack introduced a mobile app that includes an ordering platform. Designed on Apple’s iOS platform, the Shack App invites guests to place orders through their smart phone, and pick up meals at its “Midtown East Shack” in New York City. This single location test will be ongoing.   
  • Wine bar signs on at The Summit in Kentucky

    The Summit at Fritz Farm has signed CRU Food & Wine bar to a growing roster of gourmet dining establishments at the $156 million project under construction in Lexington, Kentucky.   The Summit, scheduled to open next spring, will feature 1 million-sq.-ft. of retail, 306 apartments, a boutique hotel, and 48,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space, according to developer Bayer Properties.   
  • Shake Shack, Uber shake up rewards

    Shake Shack and Uber have digitally collaborated on customer experience with a little help from Visa Inc.

    In December 2015, New York-based, 66-unit Shake Shack and Uber utilized the new Visa Commerce Network to offer a cross-promotion. Built on the VisaNet electronic payment network and accessible through application programming interfaces (APIs), Visa Commerce Network works by connecting transactions between two merchants.

    New York – Shake Shack Inc. is reopening its original Madison Square Park flagship restaurant in New York on May 20. The new and improved Shake Shack store has the exact same look and feel, rebuilt to last for many years to come.

    New York - Shake Shack has chosen Accruent’s cloud solution for its project management needs. Shake Shack will use the project management system to support its growth in the U.S.

  • Shake Shack opens first Japan store in 2016

    New York - Together with its Japanese licensee Sazaby League Ltd., Shake Shack Inc. will open the first-ever Tokyo Shake Shack in 2016. Shake Shack and Sazaby League intend to open one store in Tokyo and 10 total stores in Japan through 2020.
