Conshohocken, Pa. -- Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based Fameco Real Estate said that Party City and VisionWorks have signed leases at Upland Square, located in West Pottsgrove, Pa.
 
Party City has signed a lease for 9,000 sq. ft. and VisionWorks has signed a lease for 3,825 sq. ft. These retailers will join anchors Target, Giant, Best Buy, LA Fitness, TJ Maxx and Bed, Bath & Beyond at the 600,000-sq.-ft. power center.

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. — KitchenAid has introduced new freestanding French door refrigerators that utilize a system of cutting-edge advancements to help extend the storage life of both fresh and frozen ingredients. These latest models join a collection of freestanding side-by-side models available with its Preserva Food Care System, designed to control the humidity, ethylene gas and odors that can rob foods of their freshness.

New York -- The Boston-based private equity firm Thomas H. Lee Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Party City Holdings Inc., Rockaway, N.J., in a deal valued at $2.69 billion.

Dallas -- Venture Commercial said that Party City Corp. has signed three leases in Texas and Oklahoma, with plans to open new stores in Dallas; Edinburg, Texas; and Tulsa, Okla., ranging in size from 12,000 sq. ft. to 12,635 sq. ft.

The Dallas store is in Wheatland Towne Crossing, a Target-anchored shopping center. The Edinburg store is located in The Shoppes at Rio Grande Valley, and the Tulsa store is in the Mingo Marketplace Shopping Center.
 

Elmsford, N.Y. -- Party City Holdings, parent company of Amscan Holdings, has filed an initial public offering of $350 million of common stock as it raises funds to pay down debt.

It intends to list under the symbol PRTY. Current stockholders are also likely to sell shares alongside Party City in the IPO.

Dedham, Mass. -- Party goods retailer iParty Corp. reported Wednesday a loss of $1.51 million in the quarter ended March 26, compared with a loss of $1.49 million in the year-ago period.

Revenues for the quarter edged up 1.7% to $15.1 million. Same-store sales dipped 1.1%.

iParty Corp. operates 53 iParty retail stores in New England and Florida.
