  • Forum Shops at Caesars announces more retailers, expansions

    Las Vegas -- The Forum Shops at Caesars, in Las Vegas, announced that six new stores will be opening soon, joining the 11 new stores and restaurants that have come to The Forum Shops in the past year.

    The new stores include Christian Louboutin, Rimowa, Panerai, Hublot and Coach Mens – a first in Las Vegas.

  • Additions planned for Legends Outlets Kansas City

    Kansas City, Kan. -- OTB Destination, LLC announced that Chico’s and Soma Intimates outlet concepts will open at Legends Outlets Kansas City in June. Both concepts are new to the region.

  • Just zip it, Levis appoints ex Nike exec to run marketing

    Rebecca Van Dyck was named global chief marketing officer of the Levi’s brand where she will be responsible for the development and implementation of fully integrated marketing strategies across all of the Levi's brand's product categories and consumer communication channels. Dyck joins the company from Apple Inc. where she led the worldwide marketing and communications strategies for some of the world's most well-known and admired product launches, including introducing the iPhone, iPad and iPod + iTunes.

  • Apparel industry joins forces to promote sustainability

    VENTURA, Calif. -- The apparel industry has come together to form a coalition dedicated to reducing the environmental and social impacts of apparel and footwear products sold around the world. According to a press release, the group, to be known as the Sustainable Apparel Coalition will consist of leading apparel and footwear brands, retailers, manufacturers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), academic experts and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  

  • Nike and HireVue team to roll out campus recruiting program

    Salt Lake City -- Video interviewing solution-provider HireVue said Thursday that Nike has selected it to support its campus recruiting program, adding HireVue’s video interviewing platform to Nike’s recruiting process.

  • Diane's Beachwear to debut in Arizona

    Irvine, Calif. -- KTGY Group, Architecture and Planning, said that Diane's Beachwear will be opening its newest store in Scottsdale, Ariz., at the Scottsdale Quarter in early March.

    The new 1,200-sq.-ft. flagship store represents the 19-store chain's debut outside of California. KTGY is the architect for the new Diane's Beachwear store.   Skyline Development and Construction of Norco, Calif., is the general contractor.

  • Long-time retail, marketing exec named to Motorola board

    LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.  -- Motorola Mobility Holdings has announced the appointment of Jeanne Jackson, president of direct-to-consumer for Nike, to the company's board of directors effective immediately.

    "We are pleased to welcome Jeanne to our board and look forward to benefiting from her extensive retail industry knowledge and experience," said Sanjay Jha, chairman and CEO of Motorola Mobility. "Jeanne's background and insight will prove invaluable to Motorola Mobility as we continue to position the company for future growth and success."
