Santa Monica Place launches gift card program that benefits schools
Open-air shopping destination Santa Monica (Calif.) Place has launched a new gift card partnership to benefit local public schools. One dollar from the purchase fee for every Santa Monica Place Gift Card and GIVE Green Gift Card sold at the center will go to the Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation.
“Our shoppers care a great deal about supporting their schools and our new per card donation of Santa Monica Place and GIVE Green Gift Cards gives them an easy way to contribute to a favorite cause,” said Adrienne DeVore, senior marketing manager for Santa Monica Place.
The Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and supplementing the curriculum of the District. “We are pleased to join efforts with Santa Monica Place to build awareness and raise support for our local schools,” said Linda Greenberg Gross, executive director for the Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation. “Our goal is to enrich the local public school system with community partners like Santa Monica Place so together, we can make great things happen for our students.”
Shoppers can buy Santa Monica Place Gift Cards and GIVE Green Gift Cards at the Concierge Desk in the main level Plaza of Santa Monica Place.
The new Santa Monica Place is a three-level, all-open-air shopping and dining destination located just two blocks from the beach in Santa Monica. Opened in August 2010, the Macerich-owned property features Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, CB2, Nike, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, Burberry, Love Culture, AllSaints Spitalfields and others.
