    NEW YORK — Target and Neiman Marcus have revealed their holiday collection, which features 24 of America's top designers. The collection will be available Dec. 1 at all Target and Neiman Marcus stores, as well as online at Target.com and NeimanMarcus.com.

  • 'Revenge' is sweeter with first-ever Target and Neiman Marcus advertising integration

    MINNEAPOLIS — Target Corp. and The Neiman Marcus Group will promote their upcoming joint holiday collection by serving as the sole sponsors of the mid-season finale of the hit ABC television show “Revenge.”

    In place of standard broadcast commercials, the retailers are working directly with the creative team of “Revenge” to create original content incorporating the Target and Neiman Marcus holiday collection. The show will air on Nov. 11.

  • Neiman Marcus names head of human resources

    DALLAS — Karen Katz, president and CEO of The Neiman Marcus Group, announced that Joseph Weber will be joining the company Sept. 4, as SVP, chief human resources officer.  Weber will be responsible for all areas of human resources and loss prevention including associate relations, learning and development, recruitment, compensation, internal communications and benefits.

  • Neiman Marcus names human resource chief

    Dallas -- Neiman Marcus Group said Tuesday it has named Joseph Weber as senior VP and chief human resources officer, effective Sept. 4.

    Weber joins the retailer from Bank of America Corp., where he was most recently head of human resources EMEA, Latin America and Canada. 

  • Neiman Marcus prepares to go public

    Dallas -- A Thursday report by the Wall Street Journal said that Warburg Pincus and TPG, the private-equity owners of Neiman Marcus Group Inc., are looking for an exit.

    The firms paid $5.1 billion for Neiman Marcus seven years ago; the company is currently valued, according to analysts, at about $4 billion.

  • Discover card now accepted at Neiman Marcus stores

    Riverwoods, Ill. -- Discover on Monday announced that its cards are now accepted at Neiman Marcus stores nationwide.

    “By adding Discover as another payment option, Neiman Marcus continues to give customers more flexibility and convenience at the point of sale," said Jim Gold, president, specialty retail, The Neiman Marcus Group. “We are happy to open our Neiman Marcus stores to loyal Discover card members so they can shop their favorite brands and earn more rewards.”

    The holiday hype has begun, and Target this week launched one of the first salvos, announcing an innovative partnership with 24 designers and the upscale department store chain Neiman Marcus.
