  • Fast-casual chain in Florida expansion

    PizzaRev, the make-your-own pizza concept backed by Buffalo Wild Wings, will soon be on the march in South Florida.   The company has signed a franchise agreement with Surfside Coffee, one of the largest Dunkin’ Donuts franchise networks in Florida, to develop 45 restaurants across greater Miami. The group’s first location is projected to open at the Miracle Mile in Coral Gables.  
  • Make-your-own pizza chain to make New York debut

    PizzaRev, a fast-casual pizza concept backed by Buffalo Wild Wings, announced its first locations in New York.

    New York is one of five new states that PizzaRev will enter this year, including Massachusetts, Nevada, Ohio, and Tennessee. The company will also make its international debut in Mexico shortly after opening in New York. There are currently more than 150 additional PizzaRev restaurants in various stages of development across the United States and Mexico.

  • Four national retailers to open at Hanford Mall

    Hanford, Calif. – Passco Companies announced four leases at Hanford Mall located in Hanford, California. Set to open summer 2016, the new retailers include Buffalo Wild Wings, Five Guys, Dunkin Donuts, and Pieology.

  • And the top CEOs are….

    Executives from retail and restaurant chains grabbed some of the top spots in an annual ranking of the nation’s top CEOs.

    Rite Aid chairman and CEO John Standley was rated the number one executive on ExecRank’s 2015 Top Mid Cap CEOs list. Taking the number two spot: Sally J. Smith, CEO and president of Buffalo Wild Wings. Gary Friedman, chairman and CEO of Restoration Hardware Holdings, took the third spot.

  • PizzaRev cuts into Mexican market

    Los Angeles – Fast-casual pizza chain PizzaRev is cutting into the Mexican market. PizzaRev has signed a franchise agreement with Grupo Galería to bring PizzaRev to Mexico.

    The agreement calls for 20 PizzaRev restaurants to be developed throughout Mexico City and the states of Mexico, Nuevo León and Coahuila. The group is the largest Carl’s Jr. franchisee in Mexico and opened the first international store for PizzaRev parent company Buffalo Wild Wings outside of Canada.

    Major shopping center openings in 2014 beg the question, “Are we back on track?”

    Last year may be the first 365-day period since the Great Recession that there is enough new shopping center space to crow about.

    Chain Store Age’s annual development survey — spanning 26 years — reported pretty spotty new-build efforts from 2009 to 2013, but in 2014 some significant projects opened.

  • New retailers come to West Manchester Town Center

    York, Pa. – The revamped West Manchester Town Center is announcing the latest group of retailers to open there. DSW Inc. and Charming Charlie both opened in April, with GNC and Kay Jewelers expected to open in May.

    Ann Taylor Loft GameStop, Kirkland’s and Petco each opened during the winter months. Mall anchors Kohl’s, Regal Cinemas and Wal-Mart, along with Artesian Pools & Spas and USA Optical, have remained open throughout construction.

  • Glendale Marketplace announces new tenants

    Glendale, Calif. -- Cypress Equities companies announced that LA Fitness, Buffalo Wild Wings and AT&T will open at Glendale Marketplace in 2015.

    "This collection of synergistic new offerings will begin transforming the tenant mix at Glendale Marketplace," said Todd Minnis, chief investment officer.  "This is the first step toward our redevelopment process."
