    ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Luxury shoppers are more likely to use mobile channels when shopping but are slightly less satisfied with e-commerce overall, according to the Luxury E-Retail Satisfaction Index released by customer experience analytics firm ForeSee. Luxury brands have an aggregate score of 77 on the study's 100-point scale, falling just short of the average score of the top 100 online retailers overall (78).

  • Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta will open earlier than expected

    Atlanta -- CBL & Associates Properties and Horizon Group Properties announced that their jointly owned Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta will open one month earlier than previously announced – or on July 18, 2013.

    Located in the North Atlanta suburb of Woodstock, Ga., the 370,000-sq.-ft. initial phase of the center will feature such designer outlet names as Nike, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Bose, Brooks Brothers, Columbia Sportswear, Cole Haan, White House|Black Market, Guess, Fossil, Michael Kors, Under Armour, and Talbots.  

  • One Nineteen to be re-branded Town Center Crossing

    Leawood, Kan. -- Glimcher Realty Trust announced that it will rename One Nineteen as Town Center Crossing. Glimcher and the owners of One Nineteen and Town Center Plaza will rebrand both centers with new logos, new signage and a shared property directory.

    “Our hope by rebranding the properties is to create the Town Center district, marking one of the best retail areas outside of Kansas City,” said Marshall Loeb, president and COO, Glimcher Realty Trust.

  • Nike, Converse, Adidas among brands planned for St. Louis Premium Outlets

    Indianapolis -- Simon Property Group said that St. Louis Premium Outlets, located in Chesterfield, Mo., has moved up its opening date to Aug. 22, 2013, and will be joined by Nike, Cole Haan, Converse, Gymboree, Adidas, Wilsons Leather and Claire's Accessories.

    Other previously announced tenants include anchor Saks Fifth Avenue Off5TH, Ann Taylor, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Brooks Brothers, Elie Tahari, J.Crew, Jones New York, Loft Outlet, Max Studio, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen and Vera Bradley.

    New York -- PTC announced that Brooks Brothers Group Inc. has chosen PTC Windchill FlexPLM software, PTC's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for retail, to improve product design and development effectiveness, reduce costs and better capture market opportunities.
