    Halton Hills, OntarioSimon Property Group has announced the opening of Toronto Premium Outlets™, the first Premium Outlet Centre in Canada. The development is a 50/50 joint venture with Calloway Real Estate Investment Trust.

  • The Outlet Collection | Seattle adds retailers

    Columbus, Ohio — Glimcher Realty Trust has released the tenant list for The Outlet Collection | Seattle, which is nearing completion of a major, $35 million renovation. The renovation is transforming the center into a designer fashion outlet mall.

    The tenant list includes several retailers new to center. They are Coach, Nike, Michael Kors, J. Crew, Brooks Brothers, Loft Outlet, H&M and Sketchers.

  • Brooks Brothers brings in-store experience online

    New York – Brooks Brothers is connecting data to the customer experience in order to replicate the highly personalized shopping environment of its stores on its e-commerce site.

    “We are connectors,” Cindy L. Hicks, director of analytics for Brooks Brothers, told the audience during a session at last week’s Internet Retailer conference in Chicago. “Our job is to connect data to the customer experience with a software package.”

  • Horizon Group, CBL to develop The Outlet Shoppes at Louisville

    Simpsonville, Ky. -- Following on the heels of successful outlet projects in Atlanta and Oklahoma City, CBL & Associates Properties and Horizon Group Properties announced another joint venture – to co-develop The Outlet Shoppes at Louisville, in Simpsonville, Ky.

  • Renaissance at Colony Park sets lifestyle standard

    When Renaissance at Colony Park opened in Ridgeland, Miss., in 2008, it created a stir not only among the local residents of Ridgeland, Miss., but also within the retailer and shopping center communities as a whole.

    The project, developed by Mattiace Properties and H.C. Bailey Cos., pulled together the aesthetic elements of a Main Street and town center format with strategic, traffic-driving retail, entertainment and dining offerings.
