Lululemon has named a new chief technology officer.   According to a report in GeekWire, Julie Averill is joining the retailer as its new executive VP and chief technology officer. Currently, Averill is the CIO at REI.  

The Buckle is losing its finance chief.   The apparel retailer on Thursday said that Karen B. Rhoads, senior VP of finance and CFO, will retire later this summer. She will continue to serve as a member of the board. Rhodes joined the Buckle in 1980, and has served as CFO since 1991.     The retailer has hired an executive search firm to assist with the search for Rhoads’ replacement. Rhoads will remain in her role to support the search and to assist with the transition.  

Ralph Lauren Corp. has named a 25-year Proctor & Gamble executive to head up its ongoing turnaround effort.     The company appointed Patrice Louvet as president and CEO, effective July 17, 2017. At the time, he will also be appointed to the board. Louvet will dual report to founder Ralph Lauren in his capacity as executive chairman and to the company’s board.  

Pilot Flying J has added a new title to its management team.    The company announced that Whitney Haslam-Johnson, previously VP of brand and customer experience, has been named to the new position of chief experience officer at Pilot Flying J. Johnson is also a member of the company’s board.   

Kroger Co. has made changes in its executive team, including naming a new retail VP.   Calvin Kaufman was named senior VP of retail divisions. He will replace Sukanya Madlinger, who is retiring in June. Madlinger has been with Kroger for 31 years.   

An online menswear brand that is expanding its store footprint has expanded its senior team.      Vancouver, Canada-based Indochino has appointed Randy Binning as VP of retail operations. The 15-year Guess Inc. veteran most recently served as director of stores for Guess and Marchiano Canada. Prior that he was a regional director for Guess. Binning is charged with leading a consistent and exceptional customer experience across all locations and ensure continued profitability as the company continues to grow.  

The company formerly known as Restoration Hardware has added a longtime Williams-Sonoma executive to its executive team.   RH announced the appointment of Sandra Stangl as president of new business development. In the position, she will lead the development of future new business and growth strategies that will leverage RH’s proprietary multichannel platform.  

Dick’s Sporting Goods has made several changes in its executive team, including naming a former Target executive as its chief merchant.   The company said that André Hawaux is retiring as executive VP, COO. He will remain with Dick’s through the second quarter of 2017. Dick’s did not name a replacement for Hawaux.
