  • NAI MLG Commercial names Schmoldt VP

    Milwaukee — NAI MLG Commercial has promoted Kevin Schmoldt to VP. Schmoldt joined the company in 2007 as an intern while studying at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. After becoming a broker associate in May of 2009, he worked with landlords, tenants and investors.

    The Wisconsin representative for NAI Global, NAI MLG Commercial is a privately owned commercial real estate company offering a full range of brokerage and property management services.

     

  • Corner Bakery Café continues California expansion

    Dallas - Corner Bakery Cafe has awarded its first multi-unit development agreement of 2014, and plans to open nine new restaurants in the Central Valley area of California with new franchise partner C&L Cafe, LLC. The group of veteran restaurant operators plans to open its first cafes in 2014 and the remaining sites over the next five years.

  • Whole Foods acquires seven Dominick’s leases in Chicago area

    Austin, Texas -- Whole Foods Market has acquired leases from Safeway Inc. for seven locations formerly operated as Dominick's stores. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

  • PizzaRev to open in Van Nuys, Calif.

    Los Angeles — PizzaRev will open its seventh location in Van Nuys, Calif., on Feb. 7. PizzaRev is a Los Angeles-based fast casual pizza chain that fires pizzas in just three minutes. Founded in 2012 by entertainment industry executives Irv Zuckerman and Rodney Eckerman.

    PizzaRev announced a strategic partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings last March, and Buffalo Wild Wings will open the first PizzaRev franchise location in Sprung 2014 in Minneapolis.

  • DD’s Discounts to relocate Texas store

    Pleasanton, Calif. – DD’s Discounts, a division of Ross Stores, Inc., will relocate its Arlington, Texas, store on Feb. 8. The newly relocated store is in Four Corners Shopping Center.

    Overall, DD’s Discounts operates 131 locations in 10 states, including 25 in Texas.

  • Five Below to enter Tennessee

    Philadelphia -- Five Below will enter the state of Tennessee, with plans to open up to five new stores in the market by spring of this year. With this new market, Five Below will operate stores in 20 states.

  • Five Below enters Tennessee

    As part of its 2014 expansion plans, teen and tween retailer Five Below has its eye set on the Tennessee market and will be opening five new stores there by spring.

  • Boston Barricades and Premier Barricades complete merger

    VERO BEACH, Fla. -- Boston Barricade Company and Premier Barricades announced the completion of its merger, effective January 1, 2014, resulting in the largest provider of sustainable modular construction barricades in North America.
