  • HomeGoods finds a home at Millcreek Mall Complex

    Youngstown, Ohio -- Cafaro Company announced off-price home fashion retailer HomeGoods is the latest addition to the Millcreek Mall Complex located in Youngstown, Ohio. This new 25,000 sq. ft. store will open its doors in the summer of 2016 in the Millcreek Pavilion section of the complex, next to Michael’s.

  • LF Stores to join Upper East Side’s fashion corridor

    New York -- Douglas Elliman's Retail Group has arranged a lease for LF Stores at 1258 Third Avenue, New York, New York. Located between 72nd and 73rd Streets, the space offers 30 feet of frontage on one of Manhattan's premier avenues for ladies' fashion and fine dining. The Los Angeles-based brand has 30 stores nationwide, including five in the New York Metropolitan area, including one in Soho, and is designed to appeal to teens and young adults.

  • With merger completed, design firm makes senior appointments

    Callison and RTKL have officially joined forces as CallisonRTKL.

    The firm announced several senior-level appointments to launch its next level of growth:

    Eric Lagerberg (New York) has been named executive VP and will serve as global practice group leader for retail stores and regional director of North America for CallisonRTKL.

  • Store closing sales have begun at iconic Kitson

    Boston -- Gordon Brothers Group and Hilco Merchant Resources announced that the companies will be managing the stores closing process, which has begun, for Los Angeles-based, Kitson, at all 17 locations throughout California, Oregon, and Nevada. Sales are offering discounts of up to 50% on all of the fashion apparel, gifts and novelty merchandise. Store fixtures, furniture and equipment will also be available for sale.

  • Trademark implements public art programs

    Fort Worth, Texas -- Trademark Property Co. announced new public art programs underway at the developer’s two Fort Worth, Texas properties, Waterside and WestBend. The art programs are intended to support Fort Worth culture and arts through historical tributes and commissions by local artists. They are a part of Trademark’s Conscious Place initiative; a stakeholder driven development model that aims to ensure that its properties are more than just places of commerce, but also places of community and meaning.

  • First Look: Warby Parker, Nashville

    Hip eyewear retailer Warby Parker continues to put down roots in Nashville.

    Last year, the company opened a local corporate office in the city (its first outside of its New York City home base) and, more recently, opened a store at Nashville’s Edgehille Village. The storefront is open and provides full visibility into the interior. It is designed as an inviting outdoor space with native plants and landscaping.

  • Konover South closes $2.25 million, 4.43-acre land purchase

    Stuart, Fla. -- Konover South announced the acquisition of 4.43-acres of land for its new 30,587-sq.-ft. Stuart Landings retail center in Stuart, Florida, for $2.25 million.

    The center will be located at SE Federal Highway and SE Miami Ave., which shares U.S. 1 access with an adjacent Walmart Supercenter. Stuart Landings will feature a 17,837-sq.-ft. Aldi, a 3,500-sq.-ft. Aspen Dental with additional lease negotiations underway.
