  • JLL brokers sale of Bradley Square Mall

    Cleveland, Tenn. -- Atlanta-based Jones Lang LaSalle said it has completed the sale of Bradley Square Mall in Cleveland, Tenn., to Baton Rouge, La.-based MD Ruston Properties, LLC on behalf of a special servicer.

    The 406,845-sq.-ft. regional mall is anchored by Belk, J.C. Penney, Sears and Kmart.

  • Hollywood Tans to open at Parkway Plaza

    Hamden, Conn. -- Hollywood Tans has signed a lease for a new 2,580-sq.-ft. store at Parkway Plaza, in Hamden, Conn.

    Parkway Plaza is owned by New York City-based Centro Properties Group.

  • Dollar Tree to open at Summerfield Crossing Plaza

    Apollo Beach, Fla. -- Tampa, Fla.-based RMC Property Management Group announced that Dollar Tree will open a new 9,500-sq.-ft. store at Summerfield Crossing Plaza, located in Apollo Beach, Fla.

    The Dollar Tree Store will be constructed adjacent to a new 80,000-sq.-ft. Bealls department store.

    Dollar Tree is slated to open April 2011.

  • Grubb & Ellis names exec

    Phoenix -- Grubb & Ellis Co. announced that Robert P. Stephens has joined the company as VP Industrial Group.

    Specializing in the representation of industrial tenants and landlords, Stephens joined Grubb & Ellis from Cushman & Wakefield.

  • RKF retained as leasing agent for Elevation Burger franchisee

    New York City -- Robert K. Futterman & Associates said it has been retained as the exclusive retail leasing agent for the Manhattan franchisee of Elevation Burger, which controls the chain’s locations south of 50th Street and is currently the only Manhattan franchisee. 

    Earlier this year, RKF represented the burger chain’s franchisee in the leasing of its Manhattan flagship location at 103 West 14th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. It is scheduled to open in December.

  • Nadeau to open in Greenwich Village

    New York City -- Robert K. Futterman & Associates said it has completed a 7,800-sq.-ft. retail lease with Nadeau at 57 East 11th St. in New York City’s Greenwich Village.

    The furniture retailer will occupy a combined 4,300 sq. ft. on the ground floor and 3,500 sq. ft. in the basement and is scheduled to open in first quarter 2011. This will be the first New York City location for the brand.

    Nadeau is headquartered in Santa Monica, Calif., and currently has 15 locations nationwide.

  • Hollister makes waves in Fifth Avenue debut

    New York City -- Hollister, the Southern California-themed brand from Abercrombie & Fitch, has opened its doors on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The 15,000-sq.-ft., two-level flagship boasts a double-height glass storefront that is covered with video screens showing a live feed of the surf back in Huntington Beach, Calif. It’s a striking effect that has passers-by lined up neck to neck.

  • New tenants slated to open at Shoppes at Oberlin Court

    Raleigh, N.C. -- Charlotte, N.C.-based Crosland announced that several new tenants will open at The Shoppes at Oberlin Court mixed-use development in Raleigh, N.C.

    Gigi's Cupcakes is slated to open a 1,579-sq.-ft. location in December, Edible Arrangements will open a 1,300-sq.-ft. store, also in December, and Oberlin Nails & Spa has opened a 1,198-sq.-ft. salon.
