  • NAI MLG Commercial names VPs

    Milwaukee -- NAI MLG Commercial announced that Tim Janusz and Brett Garceau have been promoted to VP.

    Janusz specializes in office landlord and tenant representation, and Garceau specializes in the lease and sale of industrial properties.

     

  • Lane Bryant opens NYC flagship

    New York -- Lane Bryant announced the opening of its new 7,835-sq.-ft. flagship in New York City.

    Located near Herald Square, the store has a feminine, contemporary look and features such amenities as fitting rooms with lighting that can be adjusted to office, daylight and evening settings. New imagery and design is prominent throughout the store, plus fixtures that allow for high-impact merchandise displays.

    Lane Bryant, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ascena Retail Group, operates 805 stores.

     

  • Marks & Spencer to unveil green lease policy for stores

    New York -- Marks & Spencer, one of the leading retailers in the United Kingdom, is set to unveil a new property lease policy under which all new M&S stores will have ‘green’ clauses as standard enabling landlords and tenants to better manage a building's environmental performance.

  • Englewood Construction to launch four Midwestern projects

    Chicago -- Englewood Construction announced Wednesday that its retail group has begun work on four new projects, including three in the Chicago market and one in Columbus, Ohio.
     

  • Cheesecake Factory to make state debut in Michigan

    Bloomfield Hills, Mich. -- Taubman Centers, owner of Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Mich., said Friday that The Cheesecake Factory will make a Michigan debut with a new restaurant opening at Twelve Oaks.

    The 8,430-sq.-ft. Cheesecake Factory will open in latter 2013, and will feature French limestone floors, decorative columns, hand-painted murals and contemporary lighting.

    Twelve Oaks Mall is anchored by Nordstrom, Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, J.C. Penney, Sears and the Lifestyle Café Food Court.
     

     

  • Aeropostale to open two concepts at South Bay Galleria

    South Bay, Calif. -- South Bay Galleria marketing manager Sherilyn Haddon announced that the Los Angeles County mall will add three new stores to its list of retailers, including Aeropostale and P.S. From Aeropostale.

    Tutti Frutti yogurt will also open at the mall.

    The P.S. From Aeropostale store will be directly connected to the new Aeropostale store; both are slated to open in May 2013. Tutti Frutti is expected to open at Center Court in March 2013.
     

  • Red Robin to open at Plaza at Cherry Hill

    Cherry Hill, N.J. -- Conshohocken, Pa.-based Fameco Real Estate announced that Red Robin has signed a lease at the Plaza at Cherry Hill, Cherry Hill, N.J.

    The 6,000-sq.-ft. restaurant will join anchors LA Fitness, Raymour & Flanigan, Guitar Center, Sam Ash and Bottom Dollar at the 450,000-sq.-ft. power center.

     

  • Children’s Place to open at Blue Star shopping center

    Watchung, N.J. -- North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management Corp. said that The Children’s Place will join the tenant roster at Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung, N.J., this spring.

    Levin is the property’s managing and leasing agent.

    Children’s Place leased 4,307 sq. ft. at the 419,000-sq.-ft. property, and will join other children’s retailers Toys “R” Us, Becker’s School Supplies and GameStop at the center, as well as Kohl's, ShopRite, Michaels and Marshalls, among others.
