  • Consolo & Aquino to remake The Shops at St. Pete

    St. Petersburg, Fla. -- The Prudential Douglas Elliman retail team of Faith Hope Consolo and Joseph Aquino said Wednesday they will serve as consultants to the redevelopment of Baywalk Midcore Shopping Center into The Shops at St. Pete, a mixed-use property in St. Petersburg, Fla.

  • RED Legacy and DRA Advisors acquire The Streets of Brentwood

    Brentwood, Calif. -- RED Legacy and a fund managed by DRA Advisors have acquired The Streets of Brentwood, a 350,000-sq.-ft. lifestyle center on 60 acres in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.

    Tenants include a 14-screen Rave Imax Brentwood 14+ImaxTheater, DSW, REI, Loft, Banana Republic, Victoria’s Secret, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Ulta and more. In addition, Charming Charlie will open a 7,500-sq.-ft. store in November.

  • Ashley Furniture, Pet Supplies Plus to open at Fairlawn Town Centre

    Fairlawn, Ohio -- Charter Realty & Development announced it has arranged -- in conjunction with Julius Feinblum Real Estate -- for a 27,587-sq.-ft. lease for Ashley Furniture and an 11,284-sq.-ft. lease for Pet Supplies Plus in the Fairlawn Town Centre in Fairlawn, Ohio.

    The shopping center is anchored by Target, Home Goods, Giant Eagle, Marc’s and USPS.

     

  • Bon-Ton to close Elder-Beerman location in Springfield, Ohio

    York, Pa. -- The Bon-Ton Stores said Wednesday it will close its Elder-Beerman store in Springfield, Ohio. The company will not renew the lease, which terminates January 31, 2013.
     
    Bon-Ton acquired the leasehold interests in the Springfield store as part of the Elder-Beerman acquisition in 2003.

     

  • Running Specialty Group acquires Run On!

    Denver -- Regional chain The Running Specialty Group announced Wednesday it has acquired five Dallas-based Run On! stores, bring the total number of stores to 24.

    RSG is a joint venture between The Finish Line and private-equity firm Gart Capital Partners.

    Plans call for RSG to begin expanding in Texas and surrounding areas over the next five years.

     

  • SRS Real Estate names exec

    Dallas -- SRS Real Estate Partners said Ken Galvin as rejoined the firm, as senior VP in the Chicago office.

    Galvin spent time with Staubach Retail (formally SRS Real Estate Partners) from 2000-2009.

  • Five Guys Burgers to open at Plaza at Cedar Hill

    Cedar Hill, Texas -- Indianapolis-based Kite Realty Group said that Five Guys Burgers & Fries has leased 2,500 sq. ft. at Plaza at Cedar Hill, located in Cedar Hill, Texas.

    The 303,540-sq.-ft. power center is anchored by Marshalls, Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, Dress Barn, DSW, Ross, Office Max, Toys “R” Us / Babies “R” Us and Sprouts.

     

  • Hull Storey Gibson acquires Mount Berry Square Mall

    Rome, Ga. -- Augusta, Ga.-based Hull Storey Gibson Companies announced its acquisition of Mount Berry Square Mall in Rome, Ga.

    The 476,778-sq.-ft. mall is anchored by Belk, J.C. Penney and Sears.
