  • Pure Barre to open three New Jersey locations

    New York -- Dance-related fitness franchise Pure Barre will expand its base of 275 current locations by opening new spaces in three New Jersey markets — Denville, Short Hills and New Providence.

    Winick Realty Group’s Gary Krauss is the exclusive broker representing Pure Barre in Northern New Jersey and he negotiated each of the three leases on behalf of the brand.

  • Marshalls to open at Mansfield Commons

    Hackettstown, N.J. -- Marshalls has leased 21,675 sq. ft. at Mansfield Commons in Hackettstown, New Jersey, according to center owner National Realty & Development Corp., Purchase, New York.

    The 271,980-sq.-ft. Mansfield Commons is anchored by Walmart and Kohl’s, and is located on Route 57.

  • Report: C. Wonder closing all stores

    New York -- The specialty apparel and home goods chain C. Wonder is shuttering its remaining stores, according to Buzzfeed. The company, founded in 2011 by Christopher Burch, ex-husband of Tory Burch, quietly closed a number of its 32 stores in November. It is now closing its remaining locations, 11 in total, the report said.

    Chicago -- Commercial real estate services firm DTZ announced that Cassidy Turley and DTZ are now operating as a single global firm following the completion of the acquisition of Cassidy Turley by the private equity investment consortium backed by TPG Capital, PAG Asia Capital and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.

  • End of the line for Bottom Dollar Food

    It's official: Bottom Dollar Food will close its 66 store locations in the greater Philadelphia and greater Pittsburgh markets by Jan. 15 and retire the banner's operations.

    In November, Delhaize Group — the parent company of Bottom Dollar Food — announced the sale of Bottom Dollar's stores and associated lease liabilities to ALDI Inc., which has expressed an interest in growing its U.S. footprint.

  • Bottom Dollar Food to close all 66 stores

    Salisbury, N.C. - Bottom Dollar Food will close its 66 store locations in the greater Philadelphia and greater Pittsburgh markets by Jan. 15 and retire the banner's operations. Upon the closing of stores, Bottom Dollar Food will offer every associate severance, and eligible associates will be offered career transition services.

  • Ambassador Town Center to launch construction, development over 90% leased

    Lafayette, La. -- Ambassador Town Center, a joint venture between Stirling Properties and CBL and Associates Properties, will launch construction this month in Lafayette, Louisiana, on a 58-acre site at the corner of Ambassador Caffery Parkway and Kaliste Saloom Road.

  • Corner Bakery Café expanding in Virginia as it looks to double footprint

      Dallas - Corner Bakery Cafe has signed a five-restaurant deal in Virginia with franchise partner Shahid Ali and operating partner Ibo Pinar. The stores will open throughout Richmond and Fredericksburg.   Corner Bakery Cafe plans on doubling its national footprint of more than 180 stores in the next two years. To accomplish this goal, the retailer is adding new multi-unit franchise partners and currently has franchise agreements representing commitments for an additional 340 units.
