  • CVS campaign urges shoppers to fill their bags

    CVS wants customers to fill their bags, so the drugstore chain is kicking off a "Fill Your Bag" promotional event in all of its 7,800 stores.

    To participate, members of the ExtraCare program can scan their cards at the ExtraCare Coupon Center from April 26 to May 23 to receive a 30% off coupon each week, with a limit of one coupon per week. Customers who participate in store will receive a reusable shopping bag that is free with purchase.

  • Publix fishing for more sustainable seafood

    With more than 1,000 stores in the Southeast, Publix Super Markets celebrated Earth Day with a $160,000 effort to make shrimp aquaculture more sustainable.

    The grocery chain says it is focused on improving the conditions associated with shrimp aquaculture. The donation to the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership will fund research to improve fisheries and help shrimp aquaculture in southeast Asia become more sustainable.

    The retailer is collaborating with Pensole Footwear Design Academy on a class that will help design the new ASICS Tiger this summer.

  • P.F. Chang’s coming to Streets of St. Charles development

    Peoria, Ill. - P.F. Chang’s will be coming to the mixed-use Streets of St. Charles development in St. Charles, Missouri. The restaurant, which will be P.F. Chang’s first location in St. Charles County, will feature an Asian-inspired decor and offer outdoor bistro seating along the pedestrian-friendly streetscape.

    Construction is expected to begin summer 2015, with an anticipated opening in early 2016.

    Baltimore -- Pandora Jewelry, in collaboration with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, has opened dedicated shops within two Disney merchandise locations: Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and La Mascarade d'Orleans in Disneyland park in California.

    Both locations carry Pandora’s newly released spring 2015 Disney jewelry collection and the Disney Parks collection, as well as the brand’s full assortment of jewelry.
