  • Hakkasan Beverly Hills coming in fall 2013

    Los Angeles — Hakkasan Ltd. has announced the opening of Hakkasan Beverly Hills, a 10,000-sq.-ft. restaurant in the most exclusive neighborhood in Los Angeles.

    The international restaurant group’s newest offering will open in early fall.

     

  • Trabocco debuts at Alameda South Shore

    Alameda, Calif. — Trabocco, a new, independent chef-owned restaurant, will open this fall at Alameda South Shore Center, according to Jamestown, the center’s owner.

    Founded by Chef Giuseppe Naccarelli, a native of Palombaro, Italy, and his wife, Christine, the 4,700-sq.-ft. restaurant will occupy a prominent position in Center Court, the 594,000-sq.-ft. center’s main plaza.

    New YorkKite Realty Group has leased a 4,053-sq.-ft. space to Core Mind and Body at Rangeline Crossing in Carmel, Ind.

    Kite represented the landlord KRG Centre, and the tenant represented itself.

     

  • Bar Louis hangs at Streets of St. Charles

    Peoria, Ill. — Bar Louie Restaurant & Bar has signed for 6,500 sq. ft. at Streets of St. Charles in St. Charles, Mo., according to developer, manager and owner Cullinan Properties. Bar Louie will move into its first floor Phase II space next spring.

    Construction of the development’s 400,000-sq.-ft. Phase II will finish up this fall. Phase II will house the retail and entertainment portions of the project as well as additional residential space to complement Phase I.

  • Whole Foods Q3 net up 21%; 94 leases in pipeline

    Austin, Texas -- Whole Foods Market reported that its net income in the third quarter increased 21% to $142 million, better than analysts had expected. The company also sounded a bullish note about expansion.

    Walter Robb, co-CEO, Whole Foods, said the company continues to gain market share and still sees the potential for 1,000 stores in the United States alone. It currently operates 355 U.S. locations.

    PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway and the Safeway Foundation are holding an annual fundraising campaign together with the Muscular Dystrophy Association to support individuals and families affected by muscle disease.
