Holiday shoppers who order by 10 a.m. Christmas Eve can still receive same day delivery from online luxury goods retailer Net-A-Porter in the greater New York City area.

The retailer was offering customers shopping from, or sending gifts to New York City, and select areas of Bergen and Westchester counties on Tuesday, December 24th, the opportunity to receive merchandise the same day as long as orders were submitted by 10 a.m.

Columbus, Ohio — Glimcher Realty Trust has acquired Arbor Hills, an upscale, open-air center located in Ann Arbor, Mich., in the main corridor that connects downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan’s main campus. The new center, which opened in August, features 85,000 sq. ft. of leasable space and is approximately 87% leased. Tenants include Anthropologie, Arhaus, lululemon athletica, Madewell and The North Face. The property is expected to average above $500 per square foot in sales.

Southern Wine & Spirits has enhanced its forecasting and replenishment capabilities with the appointment of Mel Velez as VP of demand planning and logistics.

The company said the addition of Velez to an already industry leading supply chain management team will further enhance its ability to deliver excellence in service to divisional and retail customers, as well as to continue to enhance and expand partnerships with suppliers across the Southern enterprise. He will report to Phil Morsing, VP of supply chain operations.

Los Angeles – Costco and Nordstrom were the number one and two ranked retailers in terms of their return policies, according to a new report from personal finance site GoBankingrates.com. Costco received kudos for having no time limit and full cash or check refunds, while Nordstrom got credit for having no formal return policy or time limit.

Of the 24 retailers surveyed by America’s Research Group and Inmar, only three retained 70% or more of their customer base, with Walmart topping the list at 88.1%, followed closely by Dollar Tree at 80.4%, and Target at 72.1%.

Minneapolis – Media reports indicate that Target may have been victimized by hackers based overseas and also has agreed to a credit monitoring deal for New York shoppers and is suffering declining traffic. According to Reuters, sources involved in the current investigation of the Target security breach said investigators are focusing on unidentified hackers from an unidentified foreign location.

The number of ConAgra Foods facilities achieving Energy Star certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) continues to grow.

The company’s latest class of Energy Star achievers includes eight operations, one of which, the ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston/BSW facility in Warden, Wash., is receiving an Energy Star for the first time.
