  • Overstock breaks ground on new corporate campus

    Overstock plans to break ground on its new corporate campus, which is called the "Peace Coliseum" and is scheduled to open summer 2016.

    Overstock officials have said that from the ground level, the building will look like a corporate glass-and-concrete version of the Roman Coliseum, but from the air, the three-story building will appear as a peace sign.

    The groundbreaking coincides with Overstock's 15th anniversary.

  • Campbell taps developer for Camden’s Gateway District expansion project

    Campbell Soup Company has designated Brandywine Realty Trust as the developer of the mixed use development for Camden’s Gateway District. Campbell, the State of New Jersey, the County and City of Camden announced plans to develop the area adjacent to the company’s world headquarters in February 2007 with Campbell designated as the master redeveloper of the project.

    The 13 acres earmarked for development are located off Newton Ave., between Admiral Wilson Blvd. and 11th Street.

  • SC Johnson to disclose product-specific fragrance ingredients

    SC Johnson plans to disclose product-specific fragrance ingredient information, thus expanding its ingredient disclosure efforts.

    Beginning in spring 2015, consumers will have access to the main ingredients used to create the fragrances in SC Johnson products. SC Johnson chairman and CEO Fisk Johnson announced the initiative during his remarks at the American Oil Chemists' Society World Conference in Montreux, Switzerland, this week.

  • Starmount donates laptops for Retail ROI computer lab

    Austin, Texas - Starmount has donated laptop computers to Retail ROI to help equip a computer lab at the Hogar de Niños Tía Tatiana School, an inner-city school in Herrera that’s located in an impoverished area in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The laptops will be used to help replace outdated computers at the school, which serves more than 500 children.
