BJ’s Wholesale on a roll with new store openings
BJ’s Wholesale Club continues to expand its footprint.
The membership warehouse retailer will open a club in Lansing, Mich., on Jan. 28. The opening will mark BJ’s fourth site in Michigan and bring its total number of U.S. locations to 226. The company plans to open 10 new stores this year.
The Lansing location, which will have a BJ’s Gas on-site, will mark BJ’s third club opening in January. Earlier this month, BJ’s opened new clubs in Commack, N.Y., and in Port Charlotte, Fla. And at the end of 2021, in December, the retailer opened a store in South Fayette Township, Pa., its 18th in the state.

Headquartered in Westborough, Mass., BJ’s currently operates 225 clubs and 156 BJ's Gas locations in 17 states.
