Best Buy offers music streaming promotion to select customers

Customers who purchase certain hardware products at Best Buy can receive special offers for the Tidal music streaming service.

Best Buy is partnering with Tidal to provide several different discount subscription plans to customers who purchase select hardware products in-store or online. Qualifying products include select streaming media players, wireless speakers, headphones, TVs, and Best Buy Magnolia home theater audio devices. Memberships will be paid for and managed via Best Buy.   

Promotional offers include a three-month free trial of Tidal Premium, a three-month free trial of Tidal Hi-Fi with a discounted monthly rate of $14.99 (normally $19.99), upon completion of trial, and a discounted annual membership at the cost of eight months ($79.99 for Premium or $119.99 for HiFi).

The offer will provide Best Buy customers unlimited access to Tidal’s entire of content, including over 60 million tracks across all genres, 250,000 music videos, curated playlists, and live events. Immediately upon creating an account, members will receive a personalized "Welcome Mix" featuring music from their favorite artists and inspiring new music discovery.

Walmart launched a similar promotional partnership with Tidal in May. The discount giant and the streaming service are offering a free four-month trial of the Tidal Premium service to online shoppers who purchase from a select assortment of 18 audio items. Following the trial, customers can continue subscribing to Tidal Premium for a discounted monthly payment of $7.99 (normally $9.99).
