Best Buy builds dedicated space for promotional content
In July 2024, Best Buy said it would be doubling down on video content as part of a broader strategy to revive sales and leverage innovations such as AI to help provide more personalized experiences and tech help for customers.
The company announced it would be creating a new lineup of videos focused on innovators, new products, discovery, tech tips, buying guides and more. More than 500 videos will be rolled out by the end of the year on the Best Buy YouTube channel and on its app and website, according to the retailer.

In other Best Buy news, the retailer is running a flash sale through the end of the day Wednesday, Oct. 9 as part of its holiday promotional activities, including products such as TVs, laptops, monitors and gaming devices. My Best Buy Plus and Total rewards program members will get access to exclusive offers.
The retailer’s holiday offerings also include providing new and existing loyalty members who spend $500 or more between Friday, Sept. 27 and Wednesday, Oct. 20 a $50 reward certificate to use on a future Best Buy purchase.
