Bass Pro Shops is expanding its footprint on both coasts.

The outdoor retailer, best known for its immersive retail destinations, will open a 200,000-sq.-ft. store — its largest single-level location to date — at Riverton in Sayreville, N.J. Opening this fall, the outpost will feature Bass Pro's signature shopping experience combining retail with entertainment, outdoor education and conservation.

The store will be anchored by a 65,000-gallon “Shipwreck Aquarium” and 12,000-gallon stingray touch pool with jellyfish. It will also boast an interactive “Sketch Aquarium” for kids and other immersive exhibits and hands-on learning opportunities. A team of artists and craftsmen will design the store’s localized imagery to reinforce its immersive outdoor theme.

In addition to a vast assortment of fishing and outdoor gear, the location will showcase industry-leading boat brands, along off-road vehicles and and side-by-sides.
