Gen Z fave brand Princess Polly is expanding her kingdom.

The Australian-born, digitally-native trendy apparel brand plans to open five new U.S. stores in the back half of 2024. The new locations come in the wake of the success of Princess Polly’s first U.S. store, which debuted late last year at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles.

Princess Polly will open additional West Coast stores at malls in Scottsdale, Ariz.; Santa Clara, Calif.; Irvine, Calif. and San Diego. It also will travel to the East Coast, opening a store in Boston. (See list of malls at end of article.)

Each new store will offer more than 250 Princess Polly apparel items and over 200 accessories and footwear styles, with clothing prices starting at about $24. In keeping with the brand’s fun, socially-savvy identity, the stores’ design elements will include walls decorated with selfie mirrors and colorful digital screens.

In addition, the stores will host exclusive influencer events showcasing the latest trends and fashion, along with customer-focused events designed to grow the brand’s connection with its new communities beyond the digital world. And in an effort to connect with the brand’s robust student customer base, Princess Polly will embark on roadshows to each location’s nearby college campuses and student hot spots for giveaways and exclusive tokens that can only be redeemed in-store.

"Our U.S. customers have fully embraced our first Princess Polly store in Los Angeles, and we are excited to expand into new cities on the West and East coasts,” said Eirin Bryett, co-CEO of Princess Polly. "True to the Princess Polly identity, the new stores will feature fun and engaging displays, and countless must-have looks and styles, evoking an overall sense of boldness and excitement.”

Princess Polly was founded in Australia in 2010 as a trendy, affordable young women’s clothing brand by husband-and-wife team Wez and Eirin Bryett, who currently serve as co-CEOs. It is now part of a.k.a. Brands, whose portfolio also includes mnml, Petal & Pup and Culture Kings.

“Princess Polly is a high-growth global brand that’s capturing the attention of more and more loyal customers, and we view these store openings as an opportunity to introduce new customers to our in-person brand experience,” said Wez Bryett. “The five new stores will give fans a chance to touch and feel our products and to physically interact with the brand they’ve come to love online.”
