Arhaus taps Kohl’s veteran as its first COO

Arhaus, which specializes in premium artisan-crafted home furnishings, has named its first COO.

Arhaus has expanded its C-suite.

The specialty retailer of premium artisan-crafted home furnishings said that Tim Kuckelman  will join the company in the new role of COO at the end of September. He will report directly to John Reed, Arhaus co-founder and CEO.

Kuckelman comes to Arhaus after spending the past two years at resale company Fashionphile Group as COO, where he was responsible for establishing operational processes and controls for logistics, inventory sourcing and management, customer service and retail operations in a high growth environment. Prior to Fashionphile, Kuckelman spent 10 years years at Kohl’s in various leadership roles, most recently, from 2015 to 2020, as VP, logistics and transportation.  

Prior to joining Kohl's in 2021, Kuckelman spent nearly 14 years at Best Buy.

At Arhaus, Kuckelman  will be responsible for enhancing Arhaus' operational capabilities across the business, overseeing sourcing, planning, logistics, customer experience, manufacturing and information technology.

Arhaus, which has a differentiated proprietary model that directly designs and sources products from leading manufacturers and artisans around the world, has 80 showroom and design center locations across the United States, a team of interior designers providing complimentary in-home design services and robust online and eCommerce capabilities. The company filed for an IPO in 2021.
