A leading automotive aftermarket parts provider is revving up its rewards offerings.

Advance Auto Parts is replacing its former Speed Perks loyalty program with a new, modernized initiative called Advance Rewards. As of Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, Advance Rewards is available at all Advance Auto store locations and online.

The new program features a revised three-tier system – 1st Gear, 2nd Gear, and Top Gear – rewards more frequent shoppers with higher rewards rates and provides increased coupon flexibility including the ability to combine coupons for up to $100 in savings.

Reward tier details:

  • 1st Gear – free to join, earn five points per dollar spent, stack up to $100 in coupons.
  • 2nd Gear – spend $500 in a calendar year, earn eight points per dollar spent, stack up to $100 in coupons.
  • Top Gear – spend $1,000 in a calendar year, earn 10 points per dollar spent, stack up to $100 in coupons.

New Advance Rewards features also include exclusive vendor partnerships that offer members-only deals, bonus points promotions on popular products, and sweepstakes opportunities. Members can gain visibility into their rewards and can combine coupons directly in the Advance mobile app and through POS integration in Advance stores.

Advance Auto is rolling out its updated rewards program as it is in the process of right-sizing its store count. In March 2025, the retailer announced plans to open more than 100 new stores by 2027, and hired liquidation specialist Gordon Brothers to dispose of 83 owned and leases stores across 38 states in December 2025.

"Advance Rewards delivers the value that our customers are asking for in a loyalty program,” said Bruce Starnes, executive VP, chief merchant at Advance Auto Parts. "At the same time, it gives us more tools to engage with them, in part through personalized experiences. We put the customer first in everything we do at Advance, which is why we've added exciting new features that recognize customer engagement while maintaining familiarity embedded in the core structure of the program.”

As of Oct. 4, 2025, Advance Auto operated 4,297 stores primarily within the U.S., with additional locations in Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The company also served 814 independently-owned Carquest branded stores across these locations in addition to Mexico and various Caribbean islands.
